He was predeceased by: his mother Bessie Roose (Van Hall); his family Nathan Dominic Dean Roose; his sister Berdene Thomson (late Warren); Arthur and Jeanette Van Haaften.
He is survived by: his father Gerrit W. Roose (Jerry); his wife Twyla; his family, Doug Roose (Kristal), Indianola, Shyan Adolff, Danielle, Charlie Uhl, Lexi Stonehocker-Roose, Deanna Wise, DeAngelo Dean and Paighton Veenstra; Wilford Roose (late Irene) of Pleasantville and Judy Roose (Den Adel) of Pella. He is also survived by nephews, and many friends.
