She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Miner and Arlene Miner. She is survived by: her husband Kerry Lester; her son Keith Lester (Michelle); her granddaughters, Mary Hanson and Charlene Lester; her great grandchild Evangeline; and her sister Marie Burzette (Kelly). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Overton Funeral Home (501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Marlene may be given to Kiya Koda Humane Society.
