She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wachter and Laura Wachter; her husband Robert Ohnemus; her son Larry Ohnemus; and her siblings, James Wachter, Alice Demichelis, Virgil "Lefty" Wachter, Harold Wachter and Evelene Ohnemus.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Kissinger (Mark) of Indianola, Jerry Ohnemus (Jenny) of Carlisle, Randy Ohnemus (Sherri Thomas) of Milo and Kevin Ohnemus (Lisa) of Indianola; her grandchildren, Casey Pitt (Cole), Jason Ohnemus (Carrie), Tony Ehlert (Jill), Josh Ohnemus (Kayleigh) and Katelynn Sherrill (Kyle); her great grandchildren, Riley, Ashliah, Jadelynn, Travis, Caleb, Peyton, Tyler and Nico; her great great grandchildren, Jax, Vincent and Violet; and her sister-in-law Betty Wachter. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Homes - Milo (201 Walnut St, Milo, IA 50166). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (111 E Belmont St, Milo, IA 50166).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be designated at a later date.
