She was predeceased by: her parents, Dolores Kathryn and Wilfred Victor Powers; her brother Ronald William Powers; and her grandson Gibson Thayer McConnell. She is survived by: her sister Nancy Ann; her husband Howard Wesley Netley; her children, Jo Mort (Jim), Shelli McConnell (Tim), Todd Netley (DeanAnn) and Lindsey Baughman (Mike); and her grandchildren, Jess Flaherty (Jerod), Wes Mort (Kayla), Jared Netley, Hattie Gauger (Kyle), Katie Mort, Kieran Mort (Emily) and Amos Baughman. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Overton Funeral Home (501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Fairview Community Church (19705 US-69, Indianola, IA 50125).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the Warren County Fair.
