It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephen Kirk Waggie of Indianola, Iowa, who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Waggie; his wife Mary Green of Estherville, Iowa.; his mother Joan Waggie (Campbell); and his brother David Waggie. He is survived by: his children, Aaron Waggie (Gabe Schifman) of Fairway and Lisa Damman (Bill) of Indianola, Iowa; his grandchildren, Emma Damman, James Damman, Noah Schifman and Ava Schifman; his sister Ann Breidinger of Douglas Island, Alaska; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Waggie of New Ulm, Minnesota. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Overton Funeral Home (501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Kirk may be given to IMPACT Drake Neighborhood Food Pantry.
