He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wood and June Wood; his siblings, Kathy and Johnn Wood; and his son-in-law Dino Patrick.

He is survived by: his significant other Mary; his children, Teresa Patrick of Coon Rapids and Andrew Wood of Indianola; his stepchildren, Gregory Clausen (Candy) of Des Moines, Deborah Herr (Scott) of Prospect, OH and Lindy Adam (Tom) of Laguna Hills, CA; his sisters, Sherry Lueders and Wendy Wood; and his grandchildren, Amaya Clausen, Luke Chastain, Christa Chastain and Disneyland. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
