We bid farewell to Elinor Taylor of Ionia, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 24, 2025 at the age of 86. Elinor touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Foote and Eva Foote (Nicoll); her husband Rodney; her brother Roger Foote; her in-laws, Ray and Evaline Fulcher; and her siblings-in-law, Connie Taylor, Betty Shea, Ken Shea and Jerry Wubben.

She is survived by: her children, Shirley Holm (Don) of Charles City, Rick Taylor (Renda) of Ionia, Gary Taylor (Barb Richter) of Ionia, Randy Taylor (Sandy) of Ionia and Mike Taylor (Lisa) of Ionia; her grandchildren, Doug Holm (Jessie) of Charles City, Sarah Pospisil (Jared) of LaPorte City, Travis Taylor (Dawn) of Fredericksburg, Samantha Robbins of Charles City, Jessica Larson (John) of Rockford, Lisa Richter of Zionsville, IN, Jill DeSloover (Jamie) of Fort Atkinson, Alicia Rich (Curtis) of Des Moines, Megan Apel of Charles City, Clayton Taylor (Sarah Ehlers) of Nicholasville, KY, Dana Meihost (Sheree) of Ionia and Alex Taylor (Katie) of Polk City; her siblings, Connie Ihrke (Roger) of Elgin, MN and David Foote (Vickie) of Fate, TX; and her siblings-in-law, Donna Foote of Lime Springs, Eleanor Wubben of Clear Lake, Pat Taylor of Cresco and Tom Taylor (Doris) of Versailles, KY. She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hideaway Lounge (200 W Main St, Ionia, IA 50645).
