He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Frank and Edwina Frank (Langdon); and his brother Ronald Frank. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dottie" Vcelka; his children, David Frank (Errin), Erik Frank (Stephanie) and Allison Corlette (Gordon); and his grandchildren, Ruby, Clara, Mikayla, Everitt and Joe.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service (2720 Muscatine Ave, Iowa City, IA 52240). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Oakland Cemetery (1000 Brown St, Iowa City, IA 52245).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his memory to the Iowa City Animal Shelter or Systems Unlimited of Iowa City.
