He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tom Williams and Karen Williams (Herrick) of Iowa City; his wife Mindy Stebens; his child Casey Williams (Brittney); his grandson Carson of Iowa City; his children, Kelley Williams (Nate Luerkens) of Iowa City and Danielle Williams (Michael Gardner) of Iowa City; his sister Sally Treiber (Dan) of Marion; his nephew Owen Treiber (Amanda); his great-nephew Jackson; his great-niece Caroline; his nephew Quinn Treiber (Lauren); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Archer and Hudson; and his brother Andy Williams.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Welsh Congregational Church.
