Joseph Eisenhofer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Eisenhofer of Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Eisenhofer and Colletta Eisenhofer; and his sister Joanne Baumback. He is survived by: his daughters, Josie Lewis (Kevin) and Katie Ellwanger (Jeff); his grandchildren, Liam, Finnegan Kate and Sydney; his sisters, Cathy White (Steve) and Chris Donahue (Bill); his brother-in-law Rex Baumback; the mother of his children Cathy Eisenhofer; and his uncle Bill Hoye.
A reception will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service (2720 Muscatine Ave, Iowa City, IA 52240).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe's memory to The Bird House Hospice Home of Johnson County.
