He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Dan Dalton (Quan) of Boca Raton and Amy Peterson (John Armstrong) of Escondido; his grandchildren, Kamryn and Rory Peterson; and his brother Barry Dalton (Juanita) of Riverside. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Hills Bank under Mark Dalton Memorial Fund.
