He was predeceased by: his father Eldon Edwards; and his brother Jonathan Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Kim Edwards; his mother Betty Edwards; his children, Brett Edwards (Tess), Aaron Luttenegger (Elizabeth) and Brooke Edwards; his grandchildren, Margot, Phoenix and Gable; and his siblings, Mike Edwards, Diane Gibbs (Brian) and Matt Edwards (Shelly). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
