We are sad to announce that on March 25, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Paul Anthony McCarthy of Iowa City, Iowa, born in Oakland, California. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin McCarthy and Frances McCarthy (Wolf); and his sister Eileen McCarthy. He is survived by: his wife Patty; his children, Evan McCarthy (Emily Boylan) and Marie McCarthy (Tori Nelson); and his brothers, Chuck McCarthy (Alice) and Dan McCarthy. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.

Paul and I lost contact along the way (he moved to Iowa and I moved to New Jersey)., so my memories of Paul are those I had growing up. He struck me as having an inquiring mind and a sharp wit (typical Wolf traits, if I may say so!). it's truly a shame that we didn't stay connected into adulthood, but that's life.
