He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Baughman and Edna Baughman (Feight); his former wife Mary; his daughter Nancy; his grandson Timothy; and his great grandchild Boone.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Buckman; his children, Rita Ligocki, Christine Baughman, Timothy Baughman, Thomas Baughman, Suzanne Parsons, Matthew Baughman, Gary Baughman, Joseph Baughman, JoAnn Herdliska and Steven Baughman; and his sister Marilyn Porter. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren, additional extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed toward St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Iowa City.
