With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Threlkeld of Iowa City, Iowa, born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on April 16, 2021 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvyn Threlkeld and Velma Threlkeld (Cozart); his siblings, Kenneth and Laurie Threlkeld (Kephart); and his siblings' children, William David, Daniel Steven Threlkeld and Robin Erin Brown.

He is survived by: his friends, Amen Mokhtar, Magdi Mohamed, Madi Abdelrhman, Nasir Ahmed, Ahmed Tohfa, Museyil Sunday, Ismail Khalil, Erica Moffit and Sunae Davis; his aunt Helen Lund of Coralville; and his siblings, Barbara Threlkeld of Iowa City, Virginia Threlkeld Larsen of North English, Danny Threlkeld (Jean) of Richland, Ben Threlkeld (Jen), Sam Clayton and Angila Chapek. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
