With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Staley (Iowa City, Iowa), who passed away on March 27, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabelle Trotter and Newton Clarence Staley; and his siblings, Nancy (Noel J. Fischer) and Dr. James Trotter Staley (Sonja). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Holmes; his children, Elizabeth Evans (Christopher) and Dr. Thomas (Jacqueline); and his grandchildren, Lauren, Andrew, Matthew, James Evans, Gabriel, Maria, Augustine Staley, Grant and Ava Sim. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to St Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Moments Hospice, and The University of Iowa Center for Advancement Staley Orthodontic Excellence Fund.
