We announce the death of Trudi Lynn Wright in Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 78. Trudi will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Walker and Dorothy Walker (Lehman); her husband Bruce Wright; her daughter Nicki; and her brother Joseph.
She is survived by: her children, Troy Thompson (Michelle Ritter) of West Branch and Lori Lou Roenfeldt of Atalissa; her son-in-law Casey Hesseltine of Atalissa; her grandchildren, Eric (Courtney), Mitchell, Kylie (Ben), Jordan (Amy), Tanner (Alexa), Sidney (Tiffany), Alexandria (Chad), Kennedy (Logan), Andilyn and August; her brothers, Dennis Walker (Cathy) of Eminence and Jimmy G. Walker (Kathy) of Somerset; and her pet Riser. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
