He was predeceased by : his parents, Horace Dougan and Darlene Dougan (Riley); his brothers, Ed and Bill Dougan; and his sister-in-law Joy Dougan.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Ann Dougan of Iowa Falls, Iowa; his children, Scott Dougan (Julie) of Newton, Andy Dougan (Jen) of Iowa Falls, Ryan Dougan (Rose) of Denver and Kady Korbel of Charles City, Iowa; his brother Ted Dougan (Lydia) of Marion; and his sister-in-law Kathy Dougan of Iowa Falls, Iowa.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
