He is survived by: his children, Angie Wike (Chris) of Mason City, Braden Hoppen (Jane) of Raleigh, Jody Thies (Brandon) of Iowa Falls and Felicia McClanahan (Aaron) of Iowa Falls; his grandchildren, Kristi, Dillon, Andrew, Ella, Tatum and Cam (Libby); and his great grandchild Kolton (Oakley).
