She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Vlotho and Cleone Vlotho (Myers). She is survived by: her husband Dan Cain of Paul's Lutheran Church; her children, Ann Tellinghuisen (Troy) of Lincoln, NE, Chris Cain (Teri) of Omaha, NE, Andrea Cain of Whiting, IA and Becky Duff (G. W.); her grandchildren, Trew and Seth Tellinghuisen; her children, Eleanor, Adelaide, Eliza Cain, Emmett, Cohen and Hank Duff; and her brothers, Emery Vlotho, Jr. of Hanford, CA and Jerry Vlotho (Bonnie) of Sioux Center, IA.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, foster children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jan's memory should be directed to the West Sioux Educational Foundation.
