With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Myron Lee Coons of Ireton, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 10, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Coons and Loretta Coons (Muth); his brother Eugene Coons; and his sister-in-law Cathy Coons. He is survived by: his wife Linda Renken of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, Russell Coons (Ruth), Eva Teut (Brian), Lynette Coons, Sara Hofland (Brad) and Shelly Moon (Allen); his grandchildren, JD, Mikella, Jake, Dracin, Jordan, Kaleb, Dakota, Nicole, Nathan, Michael, Ivy, Eleanor, Theo and Violet; and his pet Lady. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
