Though Jim may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jim touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bernard and Dorothy Faye Carney (Ruston); his son James Dean Carney; and his brother Michael Albin Carney. He is survived by: his sons, Dave Carney (Diane) of Osceola and Ronald Carney (Nicole) of Des Moines; his daughter-in-law Julie Carney of Murray, IA; and his siblings, Steve Carney of Osceola, IA, Gary Carney (Martha) of Osceola and Carolyn Boswell (Stephen) of Derby, IA. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
