He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Johnsen and Thelma Johnsen (Tate). He is survived by: his wife Christie Oamek of Logan; his children, Matt Johnsen (Amy Karppinen) and Jessica (Tanner Winther) of Logan; his grandchildren, Brodie, Broc Johnsen and Tate Winther; and his siblings, Jerry Johnsen (Mary) of Logan, Joann Thompson of Portsmouth, Jenette (Gale Dickinson) of Woodbine, Jay Johnsen (Leslie) of Logan and Jil (Jeff Mortensen) of Scribner, Nebraska. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fouts Funeral Home- Woodbine (501 Normal St, Woodbine, IA 51579). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Logan Christian Church (205 E 8th St, Logan, IA 51546). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at the Greenwood Cemetery (3024 IA-44, Logan, IA 51546).
