It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda Sue Wede of James, Iowa, born in Audubon, Iowa, who passed away on September 20, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jorgensen and Gladys Jorgensen (Petersen); her stepmother Irene Jorgensen (Hansen); her in-laws, Ray and Audrey Wede; and her siblings-in-law, RoseAnn Wede, Sheila Rudolph and Mark Wede.

She is survived by: her husband Mike Wede of Audubon; her children, Tyler Wede (Katie Klever) of Grimes, Angie Agnew (Steve) of Carroll and Katelyn Voss (Lukas); her grandchildren, Grant, Brynne Agnew of Carroll, Calvin and Maren Wede of Grimes; her siblings, Faye Christensen (Dean) of Omaha, Diane Hiatt (Jerry) of Council Bluffs and Mark Jorgensen (Pat) of Denison; her stepbrothers, Roger Hansen (Rose) of St Joseph and Richard Hansen (Lyn) of Audubon; and her sisters-in-law, Sue Wede of Audubon and Lisa Powell of Audubon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and many friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home - Audubon (515 S Division St, Audubon, IA 50025). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church - Audubon (428 Washington St, Audubon, IA 50025). A committal service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Maple Grove Cemetery. A reception was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St Patrick Parish Center (102 Market St, Audubon, IA 50025).
