With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Beverly Hoyt of Jefferson, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford W. Said and Marjorie M. Said; her husband Glen Arthur Hoyt; her siblings, Clifford E. Said (Millie) and Shirley Hoyt (Ralph); her sisters-in-law, Arlene Carroll and Clara Haack (John); and her son-in-law Roger Nailor.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Nailor of Jefferson, Dennis Hoyt (Connie) of Quincy, IL, Linda Lindeen (Tim) of Dayton, MN, Gary Hoyt (Melanie) of Ankeny, David Hoyt (Rosemary) of Jefferson and Nancy Anderson (Kelly) of Ames; and her siblings-in-law, Dale Hoyt (Linda), Neal Hoyt (Caroline), Ron Carroll and Gaye Barr (Larry). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church in Jefferson or Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson.
