He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Eugene and Mary Louise Stofer Springer; and his brother Paul. He is survived by : his siblings, Donna Cyr (Don) of Bristol, CT, Debra Jensen (Paul) of Adel, Julie Kipp (Kevin) of Yale and Raymond Springer (Kimberley) of Des Moines; and also Florence Siegenthaler of Jefferson. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, 12 great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family is requesting no flowers please.
