She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Canavan and Geraldine Canavan (Jack); her husband Dick Rittgers; and her siblings, Colleen Scanlon, Geraldine Duff, Jim Canavan and Pat Canavan.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Rittgers (Pat), Veronica Morton (Scott), Jefferson, Mark Rittgers, Rick Rittgers (Jaci), Chris Rittgers (Gloria) and Islamabad. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 plus great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial contributions in Maureen's name can be made to the Gowrie Public Library or the Gowrie Freedom Trail.
