She is survived by: her husband Jim McDonald; her children, Erin Gross (Steve), Jamie Thomson (Josh) and Anthony McDonald; her grandchildren, Conor, Emma, Dylan, Grey and Reid; her sisters, Linda Heiman (Denny) and Susan Guge (Roger); her sister-in-law Sue Johnson (Don); and her nieces and nephews, Sara, Paige, Alyssa, Cory, Matt, Josh and Zach.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dahn & Woodhouse Funeral Home - Scranton (906 Grant St, Scranton, IA 51462).
Peggy requested no flowers or monetary gifts be given in her name. Instead, those who wish may make a contribution to their favorite charity or do a random act of kindness.
