He is survived by: his significant other Nelia Burkhart; his children, Ron Knight (Lori) of Shenandoah, IA, Randy Knight (Lisa) of Murray, IA, Patti Boon of Boone, IA and Penny Miller (Steve) of Nevada, IA; his stepchildren, Lisa (Troy) of Des Moines, IA and Tony (Elana) of Texas; and his sister-in-law Irie Peters of Johnston, IA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
