He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Lacy Heater and Vera Stella Heater (Anschutz); his wife Dolores Caroline Rhoades; his pet Princess Bella; his brother Lyle "Bobby" Heater; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Carlisle and Carl Killam.
He is survived by : his girlfriend Barb Gregg of Farnhamville; his children, Douglas Heater (Gloria) of Surprise, AZ, Mark Heater (Peggy) of Jefferson and Diane Carey (Trevis) of Rippey; his grandchildren, Chris Pernice (Mindy), Matt Pernice, Jon Pernice, Eric Heater, Josh Heater (Donna), Amanda Tourjee (Stephen), Quincy Christine Carey (Augusto Jata), Lacey Kay Clapp (David), Fallon Caroline Heater and Blake Heater; his great grandchildren, Eli, Greyson, Connor, Benjamin, Ocean, Ellie, Adelynn, Delilah, Lincoln, Kingston and Hazel; his sisters, Donna Carlisle of Perry and Kathleen Killam of East Moline, IL; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Heater of Ogden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
