She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Anthony Gardner and Anna Katherine Gardner (Neisen); her husband Richard Anthony Kayser; her son Pete Kayser; her grandsons, Jeremiah James Kayser and Adam Clark Jones; her great grandchild Oliver David Weber; and her siblings, Claude, Don, Pat, Peter Gardner, Rita Homolka, Lucy Duff, Doretta Menuey, Bernadette Ohrt and Petronella Pint Yarrington.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Kayser (Sheila) of Waterloo, IA, Bob Kayser (Enadene) of Ft. Pierce, FL, James Kayser (Kris) of Independence, IA, Matt Kayser (Shannon) of Gilbertville, IA, Patricia Tompkins of Mesa, AZ, Jane Weber (Irvin) of Jesup, IA and Donna Ohl (Jimmy) of Quasqueton, IA. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren,; 26 great-grandchildren.

Memorials will be directed to St. Athanasius Catholic Church in Jesup and to Camp Courageous of Iowa in Monticello, IA.
