He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Paul Winters and Angeline Barbara Winters (Blong); his wife Carol Ann Marcussen; his brother Robert Winters; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Marcussen, Judy Winters and Patricia Winters.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Sharon Winters) and Chris (Billie Winters); his grandchildren, Christopher Winters (Amanda), Beau Winters (Mary), Brock Winters (Brenna), Bryce Winters (Miranda) and Allison Suckow (Evan); his great grandchildren, Theodore Winters, Blake Winters, Natalie Winters, Marlee Winters and Cooper Suckow; his siblings, Richard Winters (Peg), Charles Winters, Andrew Winters (Darlene), William Winters (Julie), David Winters, Dorothy Ehlert, Gloria Kibbee (Kenny) and Cindy Maines (Darrel); and his sisters-in-law, Janice Schmit (Jim) and Elfriede "Friede" Jones (Henry).
Memorials will be directed to St. Athanasius Catholic Church and to the Jesup Ambulance Service.
