Connie June Knoot Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 11, 2025, Connie June Knoot of Johnston, Iowa, born in Pella, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett H. Meinders and Anna Mae Meinders (Kuiken); her husband Richard "Dick" Knoot; her siblings, Phillis, Lois DeNooy and Vernon Meinders; her grandson Zachary Cooper; and her children, Judi Cooper (Mark) of Johnston, Vince Knoot (Ellen) of Bondurant and Susan Hayes (Dylan) of Ankeny.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Owen Cooper (Margaret Tietjen) of North Liberty, Michael Knoot (Ashley) of Newton, Brett Knoot of Altoona, Mikayla Exline (Ryan) of Omaha, NE, Julianna Albers (Elijah) of Bondurant and Chantelle Foster of Johnston; and her great grandchildren, Chloe Knoot, Emma Knoot, Jack Albers and Eleanor James Cooper.

Memorial contributions in Connie's name may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or The Bridge Church in Johnston, organizations close to her heart.
