She was predeceased by: her parents, Clem Schlichte and Sue Schlichte; her husband Robert Balster (Bob); and her brothers, Marvin, Orville, Lyle and Darryl.
She is survived by: her children, Kay Atchison (Andy) of Lenexa, KS, Cindy Burke (Mike) of Fort Meyers, FL and Christy Nelson (Jeff) of Waukee, IA; and her grandchildren, Abby Atchison, Travis Atchison, Megan Burke (Noah Lamfers), Rob Burke, Anthony Nelson (Jordyn) and Nathan Nelson. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
