She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Carr and Dolores Carr. She is survived by: her children, Tim and Asia; her foster children, Alex, Taylor and Abbie Chalk; her grandchildren, Zoey, Kai and Kendal; her sisters, Kathy Chandy (Jacob) of Rosemount, MN, Mary Carr of Johnston, Janine Woodsmall of Grimes and Janelle Turner (Stu) of Des Moines; her nephew Joel Woodsmall; and her nieces, Jenna Woodsmall, Nora Turner and Susan Chandy.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Iles Westover Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
