It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Molly J. Butterfield of Johnston, Iowa, who passed away on April 25, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kennedy and Elfrieda Kennedy (Preusse). She is survived by: her brother David Kennedy; her children, Cortland Butterfield (Mary), Kathleen Stacey (Chuck Wood) and Shannen Butterfield (Dara); her grandchildren, Erin Christensen, Jacob Dent, Jon Butterfield, Aujolie Stacey, Joziah Stacey, Aiyana Stacey, Aaliyah Butterfield and Anya Butterfield; her pet Toby; Molly. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
