He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne "Babe" Parker and Madelyn Parker (Freese); his parents-in-law, Marjorie Schweer (Vaught) and John Schweer Sr.; and his sister-in-law Cindy Behrens (Schweer).
He is survived by: his wife Kris Parker (Schweer); his sons, Jay Parker (Annika) of Urbandale and Joel Parker (Kristin) of Johnston; his grandchildren, Jaren, Adelyn, Alyssa and Caleb Parker; his sisters, Marsha Andersen (Roger) of Treynor and Diane Godfrey (Gary) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and his brothers-in-law, John Schweer Jr. (Jacqueline) of Rossville, Rod Behrens of Council Bluffs and Rob Schweer of Council Bluffs. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
