Yu will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Yu by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Yu is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Yu’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parent Ta-Cheng Lu. She is survived by: her husband Mark Williams; and her children, Alek and Anya Williams (Chris Bahm). She is also survived by her brother, two sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Westchester Evangelical Free Church (4919 NW Aurora Ave., Des Moines, IA 50310). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
