She was predeceased by : her parents, Emanuel Borntrager and Barbara Borntrager (Swartzendruber); her great-nephew Samuel Brenneman; and her great-niece Jewel Miller. She is survived by : her siblings, Magdalena of Kalona, Jerry Schrock of Kalona, Joan (Mary Lou) of Kalona, Clayton (Anna Mae) of Kalona and Wilma Miller (E. Dale) of Kalona. She is also survived by 33 nieces and nephews and 37 great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Clayton Borntrager Residence (2440 105th St, Kalona, IA 52247). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
