She was predeceased by: her parents, Earlis J. Swartzendruber and Nettie Swartzendruber (Bender); her husband Howard R. Yoder; her brothers, Loran Swartzendruber and Carroll Swartzendruber; her sister-in-law Leona Swartzendruber; and her son-in-law Gordon Brenneman.
She is survived by: her children, H. Douglas Yoder of Lakewood, CO, Steven Yoder (Becky) of Kalona, IA, Lucinda Hoskins (George) of Wellman, IA, John H. Yoder (Joni) of Wellman, IA, Barbara Martin (Keith) of Newton, KS and Melissa Thomas (Ron) of Louisville, KY; and her daughter-in-law Vici Yoder of Highlands Ranch, CO. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great- great-grandchild.
A memorial fund has been established for Hillcrest Academy Endowment or West Union Mennonite Church.
