She was predeceased by : her parents, Ananias J. Beachy and Ella Mae Beachy (Shetler); her husband Henry Ray Zook; and her siblings, Mary, Fannie, Ray, John, Glen, Earl, Jonas, Jesse and Joe.

She is survived by : her children, Ella Walker (Mike) of Kalona, Larry Zook (Jewel) of Kalona, Joyce Martin (Jerold) of Wagener, SC, Alan Zook (Jean) of West Chester, IA, Jason Zook (Louise) of Marengo, IA and Leon Zook (Emma) of Villisca, IA; and her son-in-law Gareth Gingerich. She is also survived by 48 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fairview Mennonite Church (2605 540th St SW, Kalona, IA 52247). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
