He was predeceased by : his parents, Everett L. Slaughter and Margaret J. Slaughter (Brazee). He is survived by : his wife Sue of Kalona; his children, Christopher Slaughter (Misty Martens) of Center Point, Heath and Amy Slaughter of Ainsworth; his grandchildren, Abner, Maddie, Livy, Remington and Easton; and his brother DeWayne "Skip" Slaughter of Riverside.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Riverside Emergency Services Association or Mary's Farm Sanctuary in memory of Butch.
