She was predeceased by: her parents, John S. Jr. Yoder and Lena Yoder (Miller); her husband Willard R. Yoder; her sisters, Lydia Bontrager (John), Amelia Yoder (Jesse), Anna Mae Coblentz (Lester), Emma Yoder and Mary Yoder (Christy); her sister-in-law Judith Yoder; her brothers, Ruben, Albert, Cleola and Henry Yoder; and her stepchildren, Leslie Yoder, Carmen Webber and Linda Loftis.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Sally Talbert of Lancaster, SC; her stepchildren-in-law, Mary Yoder of North Liberty, IA and Mike Loftis of Florida; her siblings, Nina Bontrager (William) of Plymouth, IN, Simon Yoder (Mary Susan) and Dennis Yoder of Kalona; and her siblings-in-law, Cephas Yoder of Kalona and Katie Yoder of Michigan. She is also survived by 13 step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peterseim Funeral Home (201 B Ave, Kalona, IA 52247). A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Lower Deer Creek Cemetery (1408 540th St SW, Kalona, IA 52247). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Kalona Mennonite Church (902 6th St, Kalona, IA 52247).
A memorial fund has been established for Kalona Mennonite Church, the Kalona Public Library, and Hospice of Washington County.
