He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Lintz and Shirley Lintz (Neuzil); and his brother Russell. He is survived by: his sisters, Lori Lintz of Georgia and Barb Colbert (Doug) of Riverside; his nephews, James Colbert (Jenny) and Matthew Colbert; and his great-nephew Colt (Cale Colbert).
A rosary was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Peterseim Funeral Home (201 B Ave, Kalona, IA 52247). Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (508 Howard St, Kalona, IA 52247).
A memorial fund has been established for Mid-Prairie Transportation, Sons of Amvets Richmond Post #107 and the Kalona Volunteer Fire Department.
