He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Hochstedler and Lizzie Hochstedler (Otto); and his granddaughter Elizabeth Stauffer. He is survived by: his wife Ann Hochstedler (Nissley); and his children, Darwin (Gloria Hochstedler), Kevin (Shirley Hochstedler), Scott (Linette Hochstedler), Dawn (Bob Stauffer), Sandra (Gregg Straits) and Lynette (Tim Schrader). He is also survived by 3 grandsons, 15 granddaughters, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 step great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and many friends.
A memorial fund has been established for Sunnyside Mennonite Church Missions or Pleasantview Home.
