Though Mertice may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mertice touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Brenneman and Dorothy Brenneman; her spouse Lynn Miller; her sister Ardith Brenneman; and her granddaughters, Heather Gingerich and Amanda Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Byron Miller (Virginia) of Minatare, NE, Georgia Gingerich (Mark) of Goshen, IN and Joan Miyauchi (Greg) of Grand Lake. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for Pleasantview Home and Women's Ministry Service Committee (for school kits).
