He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Shaeffer and Lois Shaeffer; and his brothers, Larry Shaeffer and Steve Shaeffer. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Shaeffer; his children, Randy Shaeffer, Sheryl Moore (Jim) and Suzanne Tyson (Ty-Bo); and his grandchildren, Brett Shaeffer (Ashton), Jeremy Shaeffer (Hailee), Lane Shaeffer, Maddie Moore, Tyler Tyson (Emily) and Tanner Tyson. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
