He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Meyer (Lemke) and Harry Meyer (Harris); his parents-in-law, Albert and Margery Olson; his brothers, Don and Dale; his siblings-in-law, Harold Polzin, Shirley Meyer and Charles Olson; and his nieces, Morgan Pommrehn-Jass, Linda Maynes and Kadyn Halverson.

He is survived by: his wife Mardine Olson; his nieces and nephews, Dennis, Kathy Meyer, Barb, Lyle Jass, Janet, Dave Solberg, Doug, Pam Meyer, Sandy, Dave Smith and Don; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Dan (Carol Meyer), Susan Meyer, Ron (Terri Meyer), Jeanine (Joe Mistretta), Randy Meyer and Tom (Malissa Meyer); his sister-in-law Darlene Polzin; and his nieces and nephews, Mike, Mary Polzin, Scott, Andrea Polzin, Kelly and Lynne Polzin.
