Vada Kay Myli Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2023, at the age of 82, Vada Kay Myli of Kensett, Iowa, born in Mason City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Vernon Proctor and Helen Proctor (Avery); her spouse Erling Myli; her children, Joel Myli (Lisa) of Clinton and Kari Myli (Richard Arndt) of Sauk City, WI; her grandchildren, Kali Myli (Phillip Patzkowsky), Sara Myli (Claire), Lexi Myli and Bret Myli; her great grandchild Paxton Myli; her brother Kurt Proctor (Lori); her siblings-in-law, Melvin Dokken, Larry Frisch, Marilyn and Suzanne Myli; and her sisters, Vicky Dokken and Voni Frisch. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and extended family.

In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be directed to your local library, in honor of Vada's love of books and teaching children.
