He is survived by: his children, Therese Neff (Jim) of Keokuk, Marsha Jairl of Argyle, IA and Albert Keppel, IV (Michelle) of Keokuk; his grandchildren, Tiann Davis (Donnie), Melissa Carter (Adam), Jamie Neff, Tanner Keppel of Kole Keppel, J. D, Tyler Jairl (Zoe) of Keokuk, Albert Keppel and Juston Jairl (Chelsey) of Hamilton, IL; his great grandchildren, Blake Davis, James Neff, Corrine Carter, Wyatt, Karter, Chloe, Xander, Zeke, Aria Jairl and Dominic Keppel; his sister Margaret Bauswell; and his sister-in-law Teresa Keppel of Keokuk. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
